Crate Digger is a desktop application that operates locally on your machine. The minimal information we collect includes:

• License Key: Your license key for activation and validation
• Machine Identifier: Used to track license activation count (max 2 machines)
• App Version: For update tracking

2. Data Storage & Processing

All your audio files, sample metadata, and library organization are stored locally on your computer. We do not upload, analyze, or store your audio files on our servers. Your sample library remains entirely under your control.

3. License Activation

When you activate your license, we send your license key and machine identifier to our licensing server (Lemon Squeezy) to verify your purchase and validate the number of machines on which your license is active.

4. No Analytics or Tracking

Crate Digger does not track your usage, collect analytics, or monitor your behavior. We do not know what samples you have, what you do with the software, or how often you use it.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Lemon Squeezy for license validation and payment processing. Please review their privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your license at any time
• Request information about what data we hold about your license
• Request deletion of your activation record

7. Data Security

Your audio files never leave your machine. Your license key is encrypted during transmission. We take reasonable measures to protect the data we do collect.
